School Assembly

Have a “real live” author come to your school.

Isabel Apodaca is booking School Assemblies to Southern California Schools grades kindergarten through sixth grade. Isabel will come to your school and read her recently published book, Mr. Worm, Señor Gusano to the student body. She will also share the adventures of being an author and storyteller. Having “real live” author can motivate and inspire children to read more. It is her desire that all children become passionate about the world of literature.

The students will lover her book about a curious little apple worm that discovers he has been eating ‘magic’ apples from a special little apple tree. He goes through a miraculous transformation from worm to butterfly and faces some challenges. Being the champion that he is, he does not give up. He handles all the challenges, It is a delightful children’s book in English and Spanish and leaves the reader with a powerful message that dreams can come true when you believe.
