Dear Isabel,
Congratulations on a great idea and great newsletter! As usual, I am a stand for including women and girls. I have made a promise to go out of my way to find great quotes by women so that more people can see that great women have said quotable things too. I'm also very excited that my own quotes are going to be included in the next edition of Elaine Partnow's book, "The Quotable Woman: The First Five Thousand years." Her book has been described as the Bartlett's Quotations for Women. Bartlett's has lots of great quotes but not many by women. "The Quotable Woman" is the same size as Bartlett's (almost) and is packed with what women have said over the past 5000 years. We must not only lift our own voices as you do so beautifully but also include the voices of our foremothers and sisters! Viva Mujeres!
Thanks for your newsletter!
Warm regards, Ellen "Learn from the mistakes of others. You can't live long enough to make them all yourself." Eleanor Roosevelt
